Jorge Carrion, Managing Member
Graduated from the University of Uruguay. Majored in Building Construction and Carpentry. Certified Project Manager. Over 30 years of experience in building construction and remodeling. Founded Abacus Contracting, LLC. in July 2004 and began to build the business on his belief that quality workmanship and accountability is paramount to good business. Since starting the company in 2004 it has grown into a trusted multi-million dollar enterprise.
Robert Mayhugh, Member Project Manager
Certified Building Contractor, Certified Project Manager; OSHA Training; Green Design Suitability Standards; Residential Green Building Accredited; Wind Mitigation Certified. Former Sheet Metal Worker’s Local 439; Over 30 years’ experience in the construction and the project management of commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Managed and completed over 485 construction projects contracted through the State of Florida. Co-founding partner of Abacus Contracting.
Cal Walton, Manager Facilities Services
Master of Public Administration, University of North Florida; Bachelor of Science in Architectural and Building Technologies, Florida A & M University. 30 years' experience in Building Design and Project Development; Facilities Operations and Management. His professional experience includes Director of Facilities Management, Director of Facilities Operations, Project Manager Facilities Planning and Construction, Physical Facilities Engineering Manager and Facilities Services Maintenance Manager for Public, Private and Nonprofit businesses and agencies throughout Northeast Florida.
Pam Jimmerson, Office Administrator
Supervisory and management experience of 15 years , in addition 7 years accounting, 8 years contractor recruiting, 5 years administrative experience in the building construction industry and several years experience in commercial lines insurance and vendor management.
Keith Powell, Project Manager: Master Craftsman
Master Craftsman with more than 20 years’ experience in building remodeling, renovation and custom furniture design and construction. His community involvement includes Habitat for Humanity, the Make-A-Wish foundation, and a lifetime Associate Member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He has served as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician since 1993.
Casey Conner, Project Manager
Bachelor of Science in Building Construction with a minor in Business Administration, University of Florida; State Certified General Contractor, Certified Mold Remediation, Customer Relations Manager and Construction Superintendent Pulte Homes, Inc. Volunteer participant with Jacksonville’s “Builders Care” non-profit organization.
